Protestors lobby parliament over proposed change in mental health law

In this news article by Zosia Kmietowicz (2 November, p 987), we mistakenly referred to the “planned reforms of the United Kingdom's Mental Health Act.” The reforms will in fact lead to a new act, which has not yet been passed. It is currently a draft bill, and if and when it is enacted, its provisions will apply only to England and Wales, not to the whole of the United Kingdom.
