Former general practitioner Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire (b 1923; q the Middlesex Hospital 1946), died from heart failure on 9 July 2005. Robin served in the Royal Army Medical Corps from 1946 to 1949 and was posted to the Suez Canal zone. He joined a two man practice in Beaconsfield in 1952. The practice amalgamated with a large neighbouring practice, and Robin was involved in the design of purpose built premises, organisation of ancillary services, and vocational training. He retired in 1987. Predeceased by his wife, Pamela, he leaves four children and 10 grandchildren.
