Former general practitioner Whitton, Middlesex (b Kent 1922; q Guy's Hospital, London, 1945), died from cancer on 30 August 2005. After qualifying David served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in Denmark and Germany. He returned to England in 1947 and took up hospital posts in Shoreham and Watford. The following year he entered general practice in Whitton, Middlesex, where he spent the rest of his career until he retired in 1985. He then became a valued member of the local community care group, Whitton Network. He leaves a wife, Margaret; two children; and six grandchildren.
