Abstract

A method is described for the partial purification of the opsonins in pig serum which are directed against a strain of Salmonella typhimurium C5. It has been found that these factors occur in the β-globulin fraction whereas antibodies produced by specific immunization of the pig occur in the γ-globulin fraction.
