Volume 78, no. 11, p. 5799-5804, 2004. Page 5801: Figure 3 shows the fraction of MARM N, rather than the ratio of MARM N to wild type. The correct figure is shown below. The line represents an exponential fit to the data, exp(−0.83 + 0.51t), where t indicates the passage number. The slight deviation in the slope from passage 0 to 1 compared to the slope from passage 1 to 2 is not statistically significant (t test, P = 0.15, and Wilcoxon rank sum test, P = 0.27). All conclusions of the article remain unchanged.
