Postmarketing surveillance of adverse reactions to ProHIBit vaccine in British Columbia.

Abstract

Prohibit was well tolerated by the children. The reactions at the injection site were generally minor, and the systemic symptoms were usually mild. For only 12 of the children had medical attention been sought for local or systemic symptoms; none required hospital admission. Although invasive Hib infection developed in one subject; the observed rate was consistent with the expected rate of Hib disease.
