Abstract
Anti-lymphocytic IgG given immediately after the injection of thyroglobulin in Freund's complete adjuvant suppressed the development of cellular and humoral immune reactions to thyroglobulin in rats immunized into a hind footpad but failed to exert a significant effect when the antigen was injected into two cervical lymph nodes. However, treatment with anti-lymphocytic IgG for 3 days prior to intra-lymph node immunization with thyroglobulin prevented the development of cellular and humoral immune responses to this antigen.
