Abstract
Antibodies produced in rabbits against purified human pectoralis actomyosin reacted only with `red fibres' in striated muscle and cardiac muscle, suggesting antigenic differences between `red' and `white' actomyosins. There was no cross-reaction with smooth muscle actomyosin.
