Beginning with Volume 38 of the Journal of Athletic Training, all certified athletic trainers, including those certified members who are classified as graduate students, have the option of receiving JAT in hard copy, accessing it via the Web, or both. All NATA members who have provided an e-mail address (including noncertified athletic training student members) will receive an e-mail message advising them when each issue of JAT is available online. This e-mail notification will include the table of contents of that particular issue. The issue can then be accessed by entering the “Members Only” section of the NATA Web site (http://www.nata.org) and clicking on “Journal of Athletic Training Articles.” Journal articles dating back to 2000 are also online, as are the 10-year cumulative subject and author indexes (1991–2000), and the CEU quiz for the current issue can be printed from this site.
Additional items can be found directly on the JAT Web site (http://www.journalofathletictraining.org). These include the current version of the JAT Authors' Guide and important links to other resources for help with the preparation of manuscripts. Forms for permission, copyright, and authorship, along with writing tips and other materials are also available on the JAT Web site, as are volume indexes dating back to 1996 for quick reference.
We will continue to stay abreast of advances in technology to facilitate the review of manuscripts submitted to JAT and to make the Journal of Athletic Training accessible to scholars and clinicians throughout the world. As always, we welcome your feedback and suggestions for how to best serve both NATA members and other readers of the Journal of Athletic Training. Please contact us at jathtr@mindspring.com with your comments.
