Regarding my article,1 the value of any registry, such as the one identified by Richard Gruneir, can be judged by 2 criteria: first, the degree to which the participants reliably represent the group as a whole (in this case, pregnant women with epilepsy) and second, the accuracy of the information supplied to the registry. Registries should use appropriate methods for assessing these criteria.
