Mean serum levels of sICAM-1 in patients with uveitis associated with an underlying systemic disease, in patients with uveitis without an associated systemic disease, and in age and sex matched normal controls. The sICAM-1 levels were significantly higher in uveitis patients with an underlying systemic disease than uveitis patients without an underlying systemic disease (p=0.04; Student's t test). Bars indicate the standard error of the mean.
