Salvatore Chiantia, Nicoletta Kahya, Jonas Ries, and Petra Schwille. 2006. Effects of ceramide on liquid-ordered domains investigated by simultaneous AFM and FCS. Biophys. J. 90:4500–4508.

The actual lipid composition of the samples was DOPC/cholesterol/(SM+Cer) 1:0.67:1 molar ratios, instead of 1:1:1. Consequently, the total lipid amount before the formation of the supported bilayers is overestimated by a factor of ∼10%. Furthermore, the relative amounts of ceramide included in the studied samples should be read as “0, 4.5, 9, 13.5, 18 and 27%”, instead of “0, 4, 8, 12, 16 and 24%”.

These minor corrections, however, have no influence on the conclusions drawn in the article.
