Seven weeks after presentation: scattered posterior pole intra-retinal haemorrhages and cotton wool spots; right eye (A) and left eye (B). One year after initial presentation: the right eye shows optic atrophy and a maculopathy (C) and left eye shows a more obvious maculopathy (D).
