 Immunohistochemical staining for inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) in adenocarcinomas of wild-type mice. (A) Positive staining for iNOS was clearly observed in iNOS wild-type adenocarcinoma epithelial cells which was characterised by a strong intense cytoplasmic expression pattern. Epithelial staining was particularly strong on the luminal surfaces (arrow) of the carcinoma cells (original magnification ×200). (B) iNOS immunoreactivity in adenocarcinoma of wild-type mice was also occasionally observed in inflammatory cells (arrow) in the stroma (original magnification ×200).
