On the third page of the article, under Quantitative Data Synthesis, the sentence “One trial⁶⁶ provided 60% of the weight for respiratory deaths, with data provided from unpublished information and a published erratum,”⁶⁷ should read “One trial⁴⁹ provided 60% of the weight for respiratory deaths, with data provided from unpublished information and a published erratum.”⁶⁷ On the seventh page of the article, under Discussion, the sentence “Three trials^49,58,62 provided data with and without inhaled corticosteroids, but only 1 provided information on severe exacerbations or respiratory deaths,⁶⁶ so subgroup analysis on the effect of concomitant inhaled corticosteroids could not be done,” should read “Three trials^49,58,62 provided data with and without inhaled corticosteroids, but only 1 provided information on severe exacerbations or respiratory deaths,⁴⁹ so subgroup analysis on the effect of concomitant inhaled corticosteroids could not be done.”
