R Plasmids in Corynebacterium xerosis Strains

Abstract

Plasmids coding for resistance to chloramphenicol, erythromycin, kanamycin, streptomycin, and tetracycline have been found in strains of Corynebacterium xerosis isolated from patients with otitis media.
