Stereoselective halofantrine disposition and effect:concentration-related QTc prolongation

Darrell R. Abernethy, David L. Wesche, Jean T. Barbey, Colin Ohrt, Sarina Mohanty, John C. Pezzullo & Brian G. Schuster

  1. p. 233 In the 4th and 5th lines of the right hand column the retention times for N-desbutylhalofantrine enantiomers are reversed. It should read ‘(−)-N-desbutylhalofantrine: 32.5 min, and (+)-N-desbutylhalofantrine: 38.0 min’.

  2. p. 234 The 2nd line of the right hand column should read ‘Plasma concentration of (+)-N-desbutylhalofantrine (M+)’.

  3. p. 235 Figure 2. The lower panel of Figure 2 has the metabolite concentrations reversed. The last two lines of the figure legend should read ‘(+)-N-desbutylhalofantrine (○) and (−)-N-desbutylhalofantrine (•) for all subjects’.

  4. p. 235 The 2nd and 3rd lines of the right column should read ‘were much lower for (−)-N-desbutylhalofantrine (M−) than for (+)-N-desbutylhalofantrine (M+) (Figure 2)’.
