Daily Peak Flow Measurements in the Assessment of Steroid Therapy for Airway Obstruction

Abstract

Measurements of peak expiratory flow can be made by outpatients on themselves. This technique, which may be carried out at home, has proved to be valuable in assessing the effect of steroids and other bronchodilator drugs in relieving airway obstruction.
