Abstract
This report on the MLA Exchange presents a history of the Exchange, an outline of its operation, an explanation of why it operates, information on the cost to the Association and its members of acquiring and mailing pieces through the MLA Exchange, and a description of the duties of the Exchange Committee. MLA members are asked to submit suggestions to the Committee for consideration and to abide by the Procedures Manual in submitting lists of duplicates, requesting duplicates, assigning and shipping duplicates, acknowledging receipts, and repaying postage.
