Clinical presentation
A 16‐year old girl was admitted with a 9‐month history of bilious vomiting, colicky central abdominal pain and 3 stone weight loss. There was no previous medical history or psychiatric problems. Blood investigations were normal.
On examination she looked well. Her abdomen was soft and non‐tender. There was a sucussion splash. Abdominal radiograph and gastroscopy were normal. A barium meal follow‐through examination was arranged (fig 1).
