A GENERALIZED VISCERAL DISEASE OF GUINEA PIGS, ASSOCIATED WITH INTRANUCLEAR INCLUSIONS

Abstract

A spontaneous generalized visceral disease of guinea pigs, characterized by the presence of intranuclear inclusion bodies of the herpes type, is described. The possible relation of this disease to the salivary gland virus infection of guinea pigs is discussed.
