Patients transferred in labour from general-practitioner maternity units

Abstract

Two hundred and one patients transferred in labour from general-practitioner maternity units to the consultant unit in West Berkshire are analyzed. Ways in which such transfers at a critical stage in pregnancy may be reduced are discussed.
