Starting at the end of 1978 and continuing through the first six months of 1979, the American Hospital Association (AHA) collected information on computer systems and services used in/by hospitals. The information has been compiled into the most comprehensive data base of hospital computer systems and services in existence today. Summaries of the findings of this project will be presented in this paper.
