Integrating the Use of Interactive Videodisc Technology into the Dental Curriculum

Abstract

In spite of the variety of uses historically made of educational and information technology in dental education, the specific use of computer and interactive videodisc technology as an integral part of the curriculum has yet to be realized on a broad scale. This paper discusses how this form of instruction made its way into Maryland's curriculum and cites examples of how it has been received by both students and faculty as an instructional method.
