Atopic Dermatitis

Abstract

Atopic dermatitis occurs in one to three percent of children in the first two years of life. This article discusses the disease's incidence, etiology, diagnosis and pathology, emphasizing the allergic connection with food. Complications and general treatment suggestions are also discussed, while symptomatic treatment is divided into three phases: acute, subacute and chronic.
