Effect of GAL4 Gene Dosage on the Level of Galactose Catabolic Enzymes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae

Abstract

Lack of GAL4 gene dosage on the level of uridine diphosphogalactose epimerase (EC 5.1.3.2) activity suggests the positive regulatory role for this locus on the control of galactose catabolic enzymes in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
