Presence of cytochrome c in Desulfomonas pigra.

Abstract

Desulfomonas pigra, a gram-negative, nonmotile anaerobic, sulfate-reducing bacillus isolated from human feces, was found to have cytochrome c and a desulfoviridin-like pigment.
