Abstract

Cyclic adenosine 3',5'-monophosphate isolated from Mycobacterium smegmatis cells was identified by thin-layer chromatography, stepwise conversion to adenosine 5'-monophosphate and adenosine, ultraviolet absorption spectrum, phosphate analysis, and detection by two relatively specific radioisotopic methods.
