We believe that well baby care is being done more efficiently by nurse practitioners than by some physicians. We have attempted to lend support to this argument by exploring various reasons for this, by outlining our objectives in doing well baby care and by commenting on how we see our role as perhaps different from that of the physician in this particular area of health care provision.
