Abstract

Family practice is an expanding field which is beginning to produce its own literature. In order to make the job of writing an article easier, the author needs a method of organizing material and a checklist of things to remember when submitting the article for publication. This series of articles will cover the process of writing from rough notes to finished product, and will conclude with a description of the review process—what happens to an article after submission.
