Abstract
A new method for the operative treatment of the dumping syndrome is reported and an analysis of the results obtained in 28 patients followed up for periods of 10 months to 10 years presented. There were no deaths, the complication rate was low, and the results in terms of relief of dumping symptoms and weight gain satisfactory. The method offers a surgical approach for the treatment of patients with severe and disabling dumping symptoms.
