Portoenterostomy scissors: a new instrument for surgery in the porta hepatis.

Abstract

A new design of scissors is described which has been found to be extremely useful during dissection of the porta hepatis. In particular its use is recommended for the portoenterostomy procedure of infancy (Kasai's operation).
