The dashed line includes breeds analyzed previously (Kim et al. 2001) or in this study. The numbers with asterisks represent the affected haplotypes from Asian and Western breeds. (B) The SNP markers used to construct the haplotypes are Int16, Int15, Int6, ZRSi5, ShotR2, and Int3. The shaded circles represent haplotypes found in Western breeds, and the open circles (also for numbers in A) signify the unique haplotypes in Asian breeds.
