MALDI-MS mapping of the Cellulomonas arabinanase digested Aran+GalN series (A) and high energy CID MS/MS analysis of the major product, Ara6+GalN (B). After additional Cellulomonas arabinanase digestion, the permethyl derivatives of GalN-containing products were isolated from those non-GalN containing Aran series by reverse phase C18 solid phase extraction cartridge. The trimmed Aran+GalN products were eluted in the later methanol fraction after acetonitrile wash.
