Based on a printed memorandum, Schistosomiasis (bilharziasis), a world scourge, Government Press, Cairo, 1947, presented to the fourth session of the Interim Commission of the World Health Organization, The author states that the memorandum “does not present a complete picture but it gives, in outline, the more salient facts connected with the disease in Egypt.”
