On page 108 column 2 paragraph 2 of this paper a typographical error occurred. The alpha value was incorrectly stated as 0.50 when it should have been stated as 0.05.
The following is the corrected version.
“Stata/SE 8.2 was used to estimate required sample size to demonstrate a significant difference between groups (StataCorp LP, 4905 Lakeway Drive, College Station, Texas, 77845USA). It was estimated that there would be a difference of 3-points between the mean SF-12 scores, and that the standard deviation of the two groups (high TPC percent group vs the low TPC percent group) would be approximately equal. Alpha was set as two-sided 0.05 and power at 0.80.”
