Heating (boiling) or glutamate decarboxylase (GAD)-treatment failed to abolish MCM(+)-induced enhancement of neuronal IK. Representative current traces were recorded from two different hippocampal neurons before, during, and after bath application (wash) of boiled (Panel A) or GAD-treated (Panel B) MCMs. The bar graphs summarize the effects of boiled (Panel A, n=8) and GAD-treated (Panel B, n=8) MCM(+) on neuronal IK.
