For each time post-occlusion (time P-O), [K+]o,max (maximum extra-cellular potassium concentration), fATP,max (maximum fraction of activated K(ATP) channels), and the variables SCaL and SNa (scaling factors of INa and ICa(L) conductances) were incrementally varied toward their values at 10 min post-occlusion.
