Erratum: “Quantitation of Aurora Kinase A Gene Copy Number in Urine Sediments and Bladder Cancer Detection” by Park et al. [J Natl Cancer Inst 2008;100 (19):1401–1411]. On page 1402, in the Context and Caveats section, the numbers for sensitivity and specificity are reversed from what they should be. The second sentence under “Contribution” should read “The FISH test for the AURKA gene copy number identified bladder cancer when it was present (sensitivity) in 87% of bladder cancer cases and correctly categorized a subject as cancer-free (specificity) 96.6% of the time.” The Journal regrets the error.
