In Table 1 of the article listed above, the mean MCP-1 values of type 1 diabetic and control subjects are erroneously inverted. The correct mean MCP-1 values in this study were as follows: 337.9 ± 122.1 in subjects with type 1 diabetes and 234.9 ± 106.8 in control subjects. The online version reflects these changes.
