Protonation behavior of PPAs. An amount equal to 0.1 mmol of amine groups of PPAs was dissolved in 5 mL of 0.15 m NaCl solution. The pH of polymer solutions was initially set to pH 11.0 by 2 m NaOH and titrated to pH 3.0 using 0.1 m HCl.
