A 37-year-old woman presented with a 5-month history of asymptomatic, progressively increasing skin lesions on the right side of her face. Skin examination revealed red to violaceous indurated papules and plaques over the right cheek. No other abnormality was present on physical examination. The patient was otherwise healthy, was not taking any medications, and had no family history of a similar condition.

The most likely diagnosis is

  1. Rosacea

  2. Granuloma faciale

  3. Lupus erythematosus

  4. Sarcoidosis
