First published October 27, 2010; doi:10.1152/ajpcell.00388.2010 (http://ajpcell.physiology.org/content/300/1/C14.full)—In materials and methods, the relationship of Kd and Ki to On- and Off- rate constants (kOn and kOff) is incorrect in the text. In the paragraph following Eq. 7, the second sentence should be corrected to read as follows: “The Ki and kOn were used, given that the ratio kOff/kOn is the dissociation constant Kd and the Kd is the zero substrate limit of the Ki for phlorizin:

kOff/kOn=KdKi

and thus:

kOn=kOff/Ki (8)
