Correspondence (letter to the editor): Still Shameful

The article about prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of dyslexia is scientifically sound.

How then is it possible that the excellent therapeutic approach provided by the German Adult Education Association was not mentioned, which offers a free-of-charge online learning resource that has been set out brilliantly and takes learners “by the hand”, so to speak, by using multimedia images and audio (www.ich-will-lernen.de)? Subjects can use an anonymous password to log in exactly at the place where they stopped in their previous session. I have recommended this to many patients who would have normally not had the confidence to deal with this problem, which still bears the stigma of shame.
