¹DNA, the amounts of M. pneumoniae in 100 μl PBS were adjusted to OD₅₉₅ = 0·1 in 96-well plates. DNA was purified as described in the Materials and methods. The amounts of DNA were measured by optical density at 280 nm. All values represent the means and SD of three assays.
