In the above article, the wrong doses for the dietary concentrations of curcumin and sulindac were inadvertently reported in the first paragraph of the Materials and Methods. The mice actually received 10,000 p.p.m. (or 1% wt/wt) and 200 p.p.m. (or 0.02% wt/wt) of curcumin and sulindac, respectively. Similarly, the dose for sulindac on the 19th line of the abstract and the 4th line of the left column on page 1018 should also read 200 p.p.m.; the dose for curcumin in the 4th line of the subheading Determination of oxidative damage by protein carbonylation on page 1017 and the 4th line of the legend for figure 8 should read 1%.
Although the doses of these agents were higher than initially reported, they do not affect the interpretation of the results as reported in the paper. The authors very much regret the error and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
