Distribution of carbonyl content. The carbonyls were assessed in SP (soluble proteins), SPA (small protein aggregates), and LPA (large protein aggregates) fraction before (T0) and 1 (T1), 3 (T3), and 4 (T4) h following H2O2 addition. Fractions SP, SPA, and LPA were generated by centrifugation as described in the text. Carbonyl content and protein concentration were determined by 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine reaction and Bradford protein assay, respectively.
