I have been using Dr Bosomworth’s calculator since his article was published in April.1 I find it a very useful and relatively easy-to-use tool. I have noted that its results increase my prescriptions of statin drugs. I also notice that when men reach a certain age, they automatically are at moderate risk and should all receive treatment, which puzzles me a little.
