William R. Hamman, Jeffrey M. Beaubien, Beth M. Beaudin‐Seiler. Simulation for the Training of Human Performance and Technical Skills: The Intersection of How We Will Train Health Care Professionals in the Future. J Grad Med Educ. 2009;1(2):245–252.

For the article “Simulation for the Training of Human Performance and Technical Skills: The Intersection of How We Will Train Health Care Professionals in the Future in JGME Volume 1, Issue 2, it was subsequently discovered that one of the authors, William R. Hamman, did not possess the advanced degrees listed in the article and the manuscript submission. In the opinion of the Editor-in-Chief and the Managing Editor, given the topic and this author's expertise in the area of simulation in aviation and health care, the information and findings presented in the article are not invalidated by the lack of these degrees, and a retraction is not indicated.
