Dr. Everett Reid Cox
Dr. Cox died on June 12, 2011 at the age of 87. He was the loving husband of Nancy (nee Stewart) and beloved father of Debbie (Herb), Pat (Andrew), Bill (Galina) and Bruce (Karen); and grandfather of Kerry, Jamie, Toby, Jessica and Lilly. He was predeceased by his sister Edie. Dr. Cox grew up in Isaac’s Harbour, Nova Scotia and attended Acadia University and McGill Medical School. He was a general practitioner in Plaster Rock, N.B. for 11 years, and went on to study urology, in Montreal. He became Urologist-in-Chief at the Montreal General Hospital until his retirement in 1992.
